Cairns Cottage underwent extensive renovation in 2013 and is subsequently finished to an exceptionally high standard, with all the modern amenities you would expect.
Set out over four floors, three of which boasting absolutely stunning views over the harbour and marina, Cairns Cottage is perfectly located just minutes from Whitby town centre and all the pubs, restaurants and attractions.
This dog-friendly Whitby holiday cottage offers a bright, well-equipped kitchen with dining area and a cosy, comfortable sitting room with a snug attached.
It can accommodate up to 5 guests, plus one well behaved dog, in 1 lovely king size and 1 twin/triple bedroom – both with views of the harbour and surrounding countryside.
We bought Cairns Cottage because we love the North Yorkshire Coast so much and found ourselves spending an increasing amount of time there, usually walking in the moors then finishing the day in Whitby for fish and chips by the sea!
We hope our holidaymakers will get as much enjoyment from the area as we do.

Note – Short breaks can be either Fri-Mon or Mon-Fri. The price is the same for both. £100 non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your booking, with the balance due 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
Amenities
Our cottage has been built to maximise the views across the Marina and lower harbour, taking advantage of the elevated position. The cottage is a charming example of a Whitby cottage and its central location allows access to everything you need within just a few minutes walk from the door, such as the old cobbled streets of the old town, shops, cafes, restaurants and of course the famous 199 steps leading up to the Abbey.
Alternatively, cross the swing bridge and meander along Pier Road to the beautiful beach stretching away to Sandsend…. lovely!
